Guest guest
Hello all! I was just messing around on the Net, and I found an interesting-looking site. It's called www.nilevalleyherbs.com. They have hibiscus tea, hibiscus-mint tea, and bulk hibiscus flowers. The neat thing about this site is that the guy who runs it lives in a village in Sudan. Part of the proceeds from the site goes to village projects, like funding a health clinic, providing clean drinking water, and supporting four elementary schools in the village and the surrounding area. Do check it out -- it sounds like we could be supporting a worthwhile cause whilst getting hibiscus for our beloved scobys! Guest guest
www.nilevalleyherbs.com is just about half the price I paid for hibiscus tea at www.rishi.com . I'm just amazed that shipping is only $5.95. Or is it shipping from Austin TX? The web designer is in Austin. Hmmm. I wish I hadn't just ordered some: I would order to find out what it is like and how long it takes it to get here. I think the dried flowers and the tea are the same thing. Looks to me as thought the dried flowers are the tea. If we keep this up, we will all have blushing SCOBYs. Perhaps we can have a contest to see whose SCOBY blushes the brightest!!! My first batch made with some hibiscus tea is now in the fridge after its secondary ferment and it is disappearing way too fast. My first lot, now almost used up, came from a lady in Egypt in exchange for a Kombucha and Kefir culture. > If we keep this up, we will all have blushing SCOBYs.
