Hi everyone I am new to the group. I have 3 sons 15, 9, and 8. my

youngest was diagnosis with autism 5 years ago. In dealing with his behaviors

its like being on rollercoaster. His tantrums are very hard to deal with and

resolve. Whenever he doesn't get what he wants here it comes. He can even be

destructive just to warrant attention. I find it very difficult to get anything

done because someone has to be watching his every movement.

Recently I had to stop working again because I was unable to find care for him.

Please help.

My son is only 3 & 1/2, but I can totally relate. He was in a pre-school group,

and the teacher told me (gently) that is just too " off the wall " to

participate without being disruptive. The ladies here seem really cool, and it

seems like a good place to vent frustration with our kids, but also get info to

" fix " the problems. I'm a new member too, so don't consider my words as

gospel... but I think in reading the posts you'll see we have more in common

with these moms, than others!
