Guest guest
Want to clean off a baking sheet that has baked on grease? Forget the SOS, Brillo and other scrubbers. Just put some kt on it! When I left those 3 scobys on the baking rack, on top of a nasty baking sheet, they apparently dripped. When I took the scobys off the rack, there was a most disgusting black wet stuff on the baking pan. Rinsing it off in the sink took most of the baked on grease with it! Another time I used white vinegar to clean a skillet I had been given. The bottom was coated in black stuff and no amount of scrubbing would budge it. I put vinegar in a larger skillet and let the smaller one sit in it for over 2 weeks. When I picked it up, I used a plastic scraper and all the black baked on grease just fell off. Now I wonder if I'd applied a scoby if that would have taken less time? ;-) Talk about uses for scobys! a looking for silver linings to her mold disaster
