Guest guest
Hi Deana, The Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center in Bala Cynwyd is the one whose name I was struggling to remember (I called it something like The Anxiety Clinic). I have a friend who is a psychologist in Bala Cynwyd (but not there) and she highly recommends that place. I also have a friend whose daughter sees Dr. Chansky and they swear by her, so if you don't find someone else to help you, I'd try her practise again. Best wishes! Guest guest
Deanna: I want to piggy back on 's response. The Center in Bala has been a great place to treat OCD, but again, if they cannot see you, you really should contact Dr. Chansky again. If Dr. Chansky herself does not have any openings for a while, her associate Dr. Lynne Siqueland may. Both Dr.'s have been presenters at the OC Foundation conference for manmy years and if you are attending that conference, you might get a chance to meet them in person. My son has been treated by Dr. Chansky for many years, and without her expertise, he would not have been able to keep OCD at bay most of the time! in Southeastern PA efowle@... wrote: Hi Deana, The Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center in Bala Cynwyd is the one whose name I was struggling to remember (I called it something like The Anxiety Clinic). Guest guest
Thank you for the info. Now I just have to hope that they take my son's insurance. It seems that a lot of the doctors that specialize in OCD do not take his insurance and I just can't afford to pay out of pocket.
