Guest guest
Tristan has minimal verbal skills but has always had echolaia big time. He even makes up words that sound cute and funny. Spoogada is one. He comes up to us and says a word or simple sentence and will keep saying it till we repeat it. Then he will go on to another one. He rarely uses words to communicate a need or thought. He is a verbal stimmer to the max. When he needs something or has a problem he will put his language in the form of a question. Doyouneedtogobafroom? Or Doyouhavehurtbooboo. He never can answer where or what his hurt booboo is. I wonder if it is just pain, aches in general and that is the only way he can convey it to us. He can't seem to point to what is hurting. On a good day he will say tummy hurts or head hurts. C.
