Guest guest
that is sooo neat. too bad it doesnt come with a glass spikot. i may purchase one myself if it will work - but i've gotta make sure i'm rid of this mould problem before using. i wouldn't wanna ruin it. Guest guest
Yes ! It should work nicely and since it was created for vinegar, I'm thinking that spigot won't have the same problems I had with the one in the ceramic pot which was actually designed to hold water, but converted to Kombucha. I could be wrong and that would be another very expensive mistake, but its very tempting. Guest guest
I looked at this web page too, I think its just because its " PLASTIC " that they state the following " A plastic (non corrosive) spigot " Suggesting that it is not metal. Just my thoughts. ~Connie~ > I was perusing the internet and ran across this bottle designed for making homemade vinegar... wouldn't it work for Kombucha? > > http://www.leeners.com/vinegarmaking.html > > > > > Pabon & Lemieux > http://.360.com/iceblueyes3 > Mi Encanto Arabians > Where the Magic Begins..... Guest guest
I e-mailed Ed and he said they have used them for years without any problems. I would try one more spigot if it happened to me.........I love those pots they are working out so nicely, I am keeping my fingers crossed. ~Connie~ > > I looked at this web page too, I think its just because its " PLASTIC " > > that they state the following " A plastic (non corrosive) spigot " > > Suggesting that it is not metal. > > Just my thoughts. > > ~Connie~ > > >

It looks grand. I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work! The measurements are similar, so I wonder which one is correct. Here is the link to the one I found... http://www.thegrape.net/browse.cfm/4,10021.htm Sara
Guest guest
They appear to be the same Cask, the truth about the measurements is most likely more than 3 gallons but less than 4 the one from Leeners is less expensive. The shipping at Leeners is also less expensive. Its a great looking design, I may give it a try.
