Gray used to rub our legs when he was younger (stubble) but now the big thing is

to check out everyones belly buttons. He is not shy about it, either. He just

yanks your shirt up and starts probing.

I dont normally post but I just had to comment. My son is now 14 and he also smells people. Everyday is a learning experience for me and my family. My son was promoted to the 9th grade and he attended the ceremony with the rest of his school. I was so proud of him. Now the scary thing is him attending high school.

Lindy, thank God that he has given you a sense of humor!

Do you have any idea what got him started doing that?

My son's new FUN activity!

Well, has found a new past time....he runs up to people, yes complete strangers...and grabs their ankles...he doesn't pull, just holds their ankles for a few seconds and that's it...I am not on top of this one yet and I have to try to let people know that he won't hurt them as he is running toward them...He is 18! This is NOT a good thing...if an 18 year old ran up and grabbed my little girl's legs I don't know what I would do...? So far most everyone is just startled...he is very quick...and I have to be quick as well. He recognized friends of ours at Wal-Mart...the daughter is blind. I saw running toward them and I yelled out that he was going to grab her ankles...I can't imagine being blind and having someone grab my ankles...Her mother told her it was so she just laughed. I guess I need to get the hand cuffs out! YEE HAW! We're having FUN NOW!

Gotta laugh, crying makes it worse! HEE Hee! Lindy

Tristan has done the smelling thing forever. We are trying to teach him that he can't approach strangers, especially pretty teenage or young women, and be affectionate or smell them, lol. We do allow him to smell our hair though, he says "hair please". :) He is 13 now.

Hi,Have you investigated yeast problem? It seems I heard somewhere that kids who like to smell or sniff stuff have a yeast thing going on. Just like kids who head-plow on the floor, that's a manifestation of yeast. CookFrom: Carlson <cathykay@...>autism Sent: Wednesday,
