Guest guest
I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't. does the same thing. She doesn't do it as much as she used to though. Of course, we homeschool now so I don't even make her get dressed everyday. Some days she does her lessons in her PJ's. It is just easier. But when we do have to go somewhere, she still will change several times before we go. I usually give her so much time to get ready & have actually left her behind when she wasn't ready on time. Probably not the best solution, but she does speed things up if she thinks I am going to leave her. She does the touching thing too with different things-doorknobs, furniture, the cat & dogs. Sometimes it is me or her little brother that she has to touch. It annoys me after a while, and it absolutely drives little brother insane! He will yell at her, " Stop your OCD-ing! " Like I said I don't have any answers, but do understand what you are going through. I think our daughters have been emailing each other. is so excited to have a penpal that understands her. Maybe that will help both of them.
