GypsyRose My original post explains they are NOT earplugs. They are designed to in a sense extend your ear canal and thus make pressure changes gentler and easier. Those who have trouble pressurizing and depressurizing often have small ear canls or little kinks or turns int heir canals. These are these blue things with sort of spirals on the outside (soft plastic) that have a hole in the middle. You kind of gently " screw " them into your ear. I have no trouble on planes but I use them without fail in my hyperbaric oxygen tank, they make a huge difference. They should do the trick.
