HI everyone,

I was just wondering if you all work outside the home. I am finding

it harder and harder to work, keep up with the household duties, stay

calm, work with my daughter on homework from school and OCD homework,

being a mom to my son without OCD, being a wife and all the other

stuff that comes attached with being married and raising a family. I

guess you can say I am overwhelmed with how to do it all. I have

considered leaving work to be at home, maybe work part time until

things calm down. My daughter 12 years old is getting worse and

worse. Maybe the appointment we have today with the psychiatrist to

discuss meds, will help. From what I read, it may take awhile to

find the right medication. Summer is coming and how can I continue

to work and have a sitter in to watch my daughter and my son. It

really doesn't seem fair to put such responsibility on a teenager.

But it is really scary thinking about leaving work and having one

less income to pay the bills. I am trying to find something for 10

months instead of 12 months, so I can be home in the summer. Have any

of you stopped work to tend to your OCD family member?

I'm scared to stop working and I'm scared to continue working.

Thanks for letting me just vent.
