I am wondering if a child has bad thought OCD where they are continually

thinking that they want to get seriously injured, is it possible that the

compulsion could be to self injure, but on a much smaller scale than serious

injury? I know they say that with OCD you don't actually act on the thoughts,

but I

am wondering if there could be any connection between these 2. Thanks. Kim
