Guest guest
De you worried about taking the generic brand ???? Ask your Dr or look it up yourself how close it is to the original formula and what changes were made for the generic brand. Deb
Guest guest
I take a lot of generics. But I have taken some that just didn't measure up -- synthroid for one. Also, I used to take theoplyllin for asthma & would OD regularly because the generic time release wasn't right. We've got plenty enough sides with the Brand, I just wonder about switching mid-stream. I'll fax the letter to the doc on Monday. I'll talk to him Tues after my labs to see about my LFTs being out of range. He's going to decide when he sees labs if he wants ultrasound before my deductible goes to 1000 on Aug. 1. De Faith is the ability to not panic. -----Original Message-----From: Deb [mailto:posttransplant@...] Sent: Sunday, July 25, 2004 12:40 PMHepatitis CSupportGroupForDummies Subject: Re: generic ribavirin - De De you worried about taking the generic brand ???? Guest guest
I've taken some too that didn't work for me. Generic estradiol injectable female hormone replacement was allowed to be up to 20% off the original formula. I worry about taking generics even if only one small element of the original formula is changed. It all depends on the type of medicine and what the FDA allows Co's to change for that generic brand. Yes I know I worry to much about other people. I wish everyone the best on those meds. Love and Hugs. Take Care and God Bless. Deb
