Guest guest
Sorry Bev, this conversation had nothing to do with KT. Its just a way of adding the necessary minerals to our drinking water. zoe Thursday, March 15, 2007, 3:42:20 PM, you wrote: Hi Constance and EveryOne, If you wish to add salt to your water that is fine, I sometimes do so myself, but....it is not necessary just because you drink Kombucha. Folks, we seem to be accumulating a lot of additions to making and drinking Kombucha that may be interesting, or confusing, or frightening, or amusing, but basically Kombucha requires basic cleanliness: the same as other foods and tea, sugar, water and a Kombucha Colony or living Kombucha tea. That's all folks:-)) Perhaps people are craving variety to add to this simple process but the process of making Kombucha tea is simple.....for the sake of those many members who are just starting out: BTW(there are about 10 new members a day joining our list) lets keep it simple. When you present other things you can, or might choose to do with your Kombucha please present them as options not necessities required for safety or taste. I recommend taking all recommendations, including mine, with a grain of salt:-)) Happy Brewing EveryOne!
