hi donna! yes, that is the rotation. i would love to join you,

however, im unsure if i can commit 100%. i might be able to pop

into the rotation now and then... but i still have to exercise the

dog each day and do the rentals and the virgins! that doesnt leave

much time for anything else. i really would like to do ripped, S & L

and RTTC again though, they are great workouts.

that is what i would prefer as well... otherwise, what is the point

of doing the rotation together?? i know that can get hard to

co-ordinate though.

i have been thinking about this rotation for the last few days.

first, i was going to do it. then, i decided i wouldnt. next, i

decided i would! LOLOL! im so indecisive. so now ive decided

that i want to do it and would like to start whenever you do!

normally i start each week on the sunday, but really, i dont care if

it is sunday the 2nd or monday the 3rd. whatever works best for

you.... every day is pretty much the same for me.

Hi ,

That looks good! I may join you as I also have Ripped

1000 and haven't even done it yet. I was sort of

thinking I'd save it for a week when I may have missed

a cardio workout and this way I can use it as both a

cardio and a strength workout - but I like your idea!

I may do a short ab and yoga (stretch focused) workout

after my cardio sessions, but I'm going to be flexible

with time constraints. Right now I'm getting good

benefits from doing my ball stretches!

here is what i have planned for my first week doing the ripped

rotation... maybe this will give others some ideas....

sun sept 2:

- AM: walk dog 40 mins

- AM: cardio: denise austin kickboxing 40 mins

- AM: abs: cathe BS/BF ball abs 10 mins

- PM: bike with dog 30 mins

- PM: yoga: caribbean stretch into yoga: strength 20 mins

mon sept 3:

- AM: walk 30 mins

- AM: ripped 55 mins

- PM: bike 30 mins

- PM: stretch: cathe stretch max #1 20 mins

tue sept 4:

- AM: walk 60 mins

- AM: abs: zone ball body sculpt workout 30 mins

- PM: bike 30 mins

- PM: yoga: caribbean yoga core: lower body 20 mins

wed sept 5:

- AM: walk 30 mins

- AM: slim & lean 65 mins

- PM: bike 30 mins

- PM: stretch: cathe stretch max #2 20 mins

thur sept 6:

- AM: walk 60 mins

- AM: abs: zone ball fat burning workout 30 mins

- PM: bike 30 mins

- PM: yoga: caribbean yoga core: core 20 mins

but i will give it a really good try. seriously, though, i know

that i can do all of that stuff, physically. it will just be a

mental battle to ensure that it all gets done. i feel like i

really need to work hard in september because the summer was not

good for fitness... i did workout and did A TON of walking, but i

ended up gaining weight instead of losing it :( that old food

issue again ::sigh:: anyway, id like to get back to where i was

before the summer and will need to work hard to get there! i know

that you and donna and all of our friends here will really help me

to stay on track during this rotation.

it will just be a mental battle to ensure that it all gets done

I really believe working out and eating right is mostly all mental. You have to really MAKE yourself do it. I think once you really get into your routine you will build up more confidence in yourself and then it will become easier and easier. I think following this rotation will really help because you know others are doing it and will be posting and will be looking to see your post lol

A lot of people at WW, including one of the receptionists I work with, have been saying that summer really messes up their eating/exercise habits because their usual day is messed up and that they expect to be able to get back on track more easily as soon as school starts again and they're back to "normal." That is, to go along with what says, it will be easier if they're mentally geared up to do it and most people think just being in their regular routines will really help with the mental attitude too.

Hi carolyn!

Great week planned. I don't want to discourage you -

but this looks very ambitious - although I'm sure you

can do it - please don't put too much on your plate

too soon - you don't want to burn out mentally or

physically. Oh, thanks for mentioning those Caribbean

yoga workouts - gee, I forgot I had them. I'll be

pulling them out for sure! I'm also going to keep up

with my Petrone ball work - it has really helped my

hips and lower back so far.

BTW, I got your package the other day - I meant to

write you - but THANK YOU so much! You didn't need to

do it, but I sure appreciate it.

Let's get Ripped together this month! :)

yes, you are completely right, michelle! i can be my own worst

enemy :/

and i also agree that it also has to do with self-confidence, in

quite a few ways.

i love doing rotations with others... your dedication to fitness

rubs off on me and really gives me the push that i need, so thanks! :)

::nodding:: i so agree, nancy. i still have a daily schedule

during the summer, but it is much more flexible, of course, and gets

changed alot. i really do think that i will be smiling on the

first day of school (which is a change from my children's first days

of kindergarten, when i cried!). certainly there will be less

stress for me from 8am to 330pm each day now....

i hear you, dont worry! it looks worse than it is, i think.

btw, when i ride my bike in the evenings, it is for the dog's sake,

not mine. i dont get much out of it since he doesnt run full-out

for long, and ends up prancing most of the way... but at least it is

a small warmup before i do my nightly stretching. anyway, i

promise to tell you if i get overwhelmed and i will cut back.

oh man, i just typed up a big email all about the rotation, hit
