Guest guest
Geoff I like how you are keeping track of your workouts for the year. Another great way to challenge yourself. I am going to start doing that too. Thanks for the idea!! Sounds like you will totally beat your record!!
Guest guest
Tuesday was Firm Vol. 4 AKA Time crunch workout. I forget the last time I did this workout but I just LOVE in this workout even though she makes me cry because she pushes me hard!! Anyway, for the most part I used 10 and 15lb weights however, a few times I did use my 5lb weights. For the push ups I was to week to do big girl push ups and did them on my knees. Yesterday Was Firm Maximum Body Shaping with Tracie Long. I attempted to do this tape a few months back but just as I started one of my girl friends called me and we just started talking fitness, fashion, and men! Anyway, I've been wanting to get around and do this workout for a while but it kept slipping my mind. My overall performance was about a 6.5 / 7 because I got a bit confused on the moves and my right wrist is very sore so it made it difficult to do some of the weight lifting exercises but I did about 85 percent of them. Today it was Margaret Non impact fitness Formula. Normally I would have done an all lower body workout but I decided to go with this because I wanted to do something that had some upper body and this 60min workout is a good 45 / 50 min of lower body work and Margaret is the queen of lower body work and this princess needs her lower body worked!! Anyway, Margaret does not use ankle weights so it is high reps with no weights and I use ankle weights so it is always a challenge and I only had to stop a few times to take a rest. The upper body exercises I used 5lb weights for biceps and had to stop because my wrist was getting sore. Anyway, when I was doing the workout I really LOVED Margaret's outfit!! She had a light blue top on, and a black half leotard for lack of a better term and I just LOVED those shoes she had on. I've noticed in a lot of her videos she usually has a nice pair of shoes on. And her earrings were also cute too! Anyway, I'm closing out the month of August with 17 workouts the same amount I had for July and I'm well on my to beating my record of 112 workouts for 2001. Right now I'm at 83 for the year and at this time in 2001 I was at 68. Hugs, Geoff

Guest guest
I'm not a Firmie like you, Donna and , but I really like this workout a lot and it's up there in my top 5 Firm workouts. I love how you track the # of workouts for the year, Geoff! I write them down but sometimes later clear out the spreadsheet and start over. Maybe in 2010 I will actually tally them! Question: so if you have a workout tape that is 30 minutes long and another that is 60 minutes long, do they each get equal weight in the count toward the grand total? laura --- In , " geoffm727 " > Yesterday Was Firm Maximum Body Shaping with Tracie Long.
