Guest guest
I am hoping that the cast will last.... And I understand what you mean about the difference between the 2 casts. Please let me know how you and Isabella are doing. - Noelle's mommy, 3 1/2 years oldRochester NYCasted 8 times for 1 1/2 years9 months in braceRegressed and currently in cast 9reflux, mild plagiocephaly, mild torticollos, hypotonia, ligament laxity, suspected Ehler's Danlos III From: Patty Bowen <bowenpatty@...>Subject: Isabella's broken castinfantile scoliosis treatment Date: Monday, August 9, 2010, 3:38 AM Hey Steph and anyone else interested.. . Dr. S sent us to the ortho that referred us to him to see if he could do anything to reinforce the cast until Isabella's next casting but unfortunately it is too bad and he was worried it would push her up too much on the one side. I called Dr. S and he called me back himself to say that as long as she is tolerating it, we will just hold out until her next casting on the 18th. If she starts to complain or seems to be hurting, he said to just get it cut off. Our days of water time are winding down and while she will never remember these days, it will be hard for her to understand why she was able to swim in one cast and not the new one.
