Here are the results: June 8th (while on nifedipine 30 mg and bystolic 5mg) Plasma Renin .38 (.25-5) normal range PRA Also Ratio 78 (.9-.28.9) normal range this is the only info I could get out of the nurse. My appotinment is Wed. afternoon. He wanted to rerun the blood work at 8am to see if test results were still consistent with the previous ones done at 10am.... they were: May 9th (while on diovan 10mg(?) and bystolic 10 mg) Aldo/PRA 107 and Renin .14 As you can see my renin is back in normal range. not sure what that means for me. guess i will see what my next step will be on Wed.....
