,

Great news on moving forward! We just had our daughter casted this past Monday

& she is doing GREAT!! I can not believe how much I worried, stressed, cried,

etc. before she was put into the cast. I can honestly say that I made way more

of a big deal out of it than I needed to!! But I think that is what we as

mothers tend to do sometimes.

Quinn is completely back to all of her normal activities. She is crawling and

pulling herself up on furniture, and climbing up the stairs with us following

close behind her. She is laughing & playing with my 2 other children as if

nothing was on her body. She is NORMAL!!

I do have to say that the hardest part was the first two days in the cast. She

cried A LOT!! I was wondering if I was going to have to be within arms reach

for the next year. Luckily, she adapted to her cast very quickly. They do

become very top heavy, so falls are much harder than normal. You really do need

to be careful.

Please feel free to contact me with any remaining questions that you might

have!!

Oh yes, last comment....the cast really is not as big as I was expecting it to

be. A lot of their body is still exposed, which still allows you to feel like

you are holding a baby, and not a block!! I was pleasantly surprised!!

Take care & good luck!!

Aimee
