Guest guest Posted June 27, 2010 Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 Yes. I have had to request that my daughters brace have a bigger mushroom shaped window in front a few times. Before I knew about the effectiveness of the bigger front window in braces, Liv had braces with small tummy holes and eventually her ribs became permanently flared/deformed in front. I once had to glue a big piece of leather over the ribs, under the brace to try and prevent further rib flaring.
