Guest guest
HRM-Heart Rate Monitor? When you said 728, were you referring to the calories burned? I have an aerobics class that I attend twice a week & Im interested in how many calories I am burning. From: Darcy Ledman <exercise.junkie@...>Subject: Stepping Up"cathefans" <cathefans >, "" < >, workout.notes@...Date: Wednesday, July 1, 2009, 9:30 AM Well, I decided today would be a good day to try this workout since I had to also train my "good" client and I thought I'd be getting some cardio in with her. I will say that even though I was lost on a lot of the workout, I still LOVED it, and think it will rank right up there with Amy's Step Challenges once the choreo is learned completely. I was able to keep my heart rate up despite being lost on a lot of it. But, there was also a lot I did get. Enough for me to enjoy it. The music rocks in this one too. I went over a couple of combos over and over trying to get them which added about 8 minutes onto the workout. I also did the core and stretch at the end. I shut my HRM off at 1 hour 20 minutes with a burn of 728 and an average of 127. I plan to pull this one out again soon since I had a great burn despite being lost!! :)I also trained today too, but she did kickboxing for her cardio so I didn't get much of a workout in really at all. That is just fine though :)Enjoy your Wednesdays everyone! :)Darcy
Guest guest
Right. I use a Polar heart rate monitor. The same one to track my calories burned. I don't know how " right-on " it is, but I like to compare my burn from workout to workout.Darcy On Wed, Jul 1, 2009 at 3:00 PM, Toynicka <suthernsista@...> wrote: HRM-Heart Rate Monitor? Guest guest
Well, I missed a good step workout. It seems like it has been a long time. I chose Suesan's Stepping Up. Some of the combos came easier than last time, but I felt more lost on some of them too..GRR... I think I will try to do the less complicated portion of it for awhile before moving on with a couple of the moves. I had a great workout though. This workouts moves so fast! I burned 717 calories with my average being 130. I did do the abs portion, it was a 75 minute workout. I have 2 training appointments today as well, so I'll be getting in quite a bit of exercise in today Darcy
