Ok thank you. Maybe I shouldn't be so worried about it. VirginiaSent from my iPhone On Jun 15, 2012, at 5:44 PM, "msmith_1928" <janeray1940@...> wrote:

FWIW, I was eating well under 1000 Mg of Na per day at the time of my AVS... nothing was ever said to me to do otherwise, and my AVS results showed clear lateralization to the left.

Since I have been off the spiro about 4 weeks I have tried to keep my Na under 1,000 mg/day because even at 1,500 I wasn't feeling much better. Will being that low in Na alter the AVS results? Should I increase my Na shortly before the test? Thanks.

Remind them I trained with Dr. Conn and have published over 200 papers. You will need to sign a form to give them permission to talk to me and me to talk with them. But they may know everything if they have been doing this for 45 years like I have. Wash U is one of the best so I would do what they recommend. If they use ACTH then the diet may not make much of a difference and the effect of increasing aldo will be the same in both adrenals (maybe). Most Endos have never seen anyone on a 1,000 mg Na or lower a day diet. Including the Mayo. Keep us up to date.CE Grim MDOn Jun 15, 2012, at 8:46 PM, Virginia Wall wrote: Ok thank you.
