Guest guest
Bystolic is a beta blocker - many BBs tend to have the " makes you feel like a slug " side effect. Before learning I had PA, I briefly took Bystolic and felt terrible. I can't advise you whether or not to stop it, but based on my own " experiment of one, " I will say that it doesn't work for PA. -msmith1928 Left laparoscopic adrenalectomy 10/13/11 > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
I asked the Dr. if they were okay and he didn't seem too concerned about it. I guess we will see on Wed. when the results come back. > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
I can't remember all the stuff I've been on for the past 6 years, but it does seem BP meds definitely treat PA people differently. doesn't really help them at all, like they help others....Just seems there is complaint after complaint, and in the end they all stop working... thanks for confirming the sluggish-ness. its ridiculous some days. and the dizzy spells are the worst. i've been having them for 8 months now, but I think the bystolic def. makes them more frequent too. > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
In general bystolic will not lower BP in PA. Most do not recommend Nifedipine for BP esp short acting as BP will bounce all over. Are you taking them both at the same time. And you say you are taking no other meds right?Check with you team to see why you are getting these and tell them you do not feel well on them.On Jun 15, 2012, at 8:46 PM, catherinekerth1 wrote: Hi everyone. Guest guest
Yes. I am taking them together about 9pm everynight. They make me feel awful. I feel like I gave them a good trial so I will call my cardiologist on monday and mention it to the neph on wednesday. I appreciate you confirming the bouncing of the BP with that med.CC: lowerbp2@...To: hyperaldosteronism From: lowerbp2@...Date: Fri, 15 Jun 2012 22:22:25 -0500Subject: Re: BP meds advice In general bystolic will not lower BP in PA.
