How does one train to reduce cartilage deterioration? You mentioned " well

selected cyclic force applications can reduce this deterioration and

possibly rehab them if you have the problem. "

Hi Edwin, and that is a good question, which would take an encyclopedia to

answer.

I don't have the typing skills to post adequately to it, but you need to

know:

1) The role Synovium plays in:

a) Lubricating the joint

b)Nourishing and Repairing the joint tissue surfaces

c)Reducing inflammation

2)The real mechanical forces to the specific joint surfaces in each ROM and

how to use them to create safe cyclical compressive and decompressive reps

that will cause Synovium to nourish joint surfaces

3)Methods for reducing Inflammations

a)Warm-up and distributions of Synovium

b)Nutritional and dietary means for making sure you have the

building blocs to nourish the tissues, and anti-oxidants to curb

inflammations.

4)Take joint conditioning and health into FULL consideration in your

training program. If the joints are not " in shape " you will never get the

system in top condition.

You may find the following site a simple " starting place " of basic and

simple information:
