My internist gave me Diovan 160mg and then my Endo gave me bylostic 10mg too add to try to control my BP while he is trying to pinpoint my PA/tumor. It seemed it had worked. not anymore..... I've been through this for the past 6 years. Being fooled by a false sense of security when it comes to BP meds. My bp has been steadily creeping up. Tonight it reared its ugly head 195/115. I was disappointed. My husband is very worried. I'm 38 and in excellent shape/health. My family calls it my " super power " , my ability to resist BP meds I am calling The Endo to see if he can fit me in any earlier. I have been DASHing for 3 days now. Under 1,000mg Na. yeah me! Should I continue the medications that are not working? and should I continue the DASH? Also, is it okay to have wine on DASH? i don't have it too often, makes me swell even worse than usual. but I like to have a glass once or twice a week.
