Guest guest
Hi all, So glad to have found you! Went in for an appendectomy and left the hospital with Conn's!! Not really but that's what it felt like. It was discovered that I had extremely high bp (180/115) and very low potassium - wound up with 4 ivs of K before I left and still was only at 3.1. Lucky I did not have a stroke and the appendectomy was really a good thing. After many months of getting everything undercontrol I am now on Amlodipine, Spironolactone, Magnesium, Vitamin D, Metformin, Toporal, Metoprolol, Losartan. I feel awful and hate taking all of these pills. I have had mri s and cat scans that show no abnormalities of my adrenals yet all the blood tests and symptoms say otherwise. I am looking for an expert in this field so I can get off of these pills and start to feel human again. I have 3 kids I cant keep up with am exhausted all the time, have leg and other muscle cramps. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am spinning my wheels and I just want to get well. Thanks!
