Guest guest
Hi All, Again, I just want to say how wonderful it is to have all your support! This group is godsent. With that said, I was just looking for support tonight. I am packing our bags for our trip to Delaware (AI DuPont Hospital) tomorrow for my son n (14 month old with 79 degree curve) to get his first cast. I feel like this day came so fast. I am happy to get him started with the casting, but sad at the same time. I will miss touching his soft skin and rubbing his back. I keep telling myself it won't last for long, and to just take one day at a time. My son has other issues with his bones that concern me (to put it simply, some bones are not as ossified as they should be). So I can't help to worry. But I find hope and comfort knowing we are heading in the right direction to help him. I know many of you are well on your road to recovery with your children and reading your stories gives me hope and helps me through each day... Thanks, Mommy to n- getting first cast tomorrow
