New file in file section about brace presentation

Hi all,

We finally got a scanner so I scanned in the brace presentation we gave to

Gabi's first grade class. They were wanting to touch it while it was on her

which included lifting up her shirt and grabbing the velcro straps to make the

velcro noise. (kids love that noise) Gail, Connie, and Carmell encouraged me to

do the presentation and it went really well. I asked the teacher if I could do

it and she thought it was a good idea. It was very hard as I am a quiet person

and it was hard to trust that the kids were not going to tease her or anything.

I started off the presentation by saying that Gabi was trusting them not to

laugh at her and that whenever someone looks serious, you should also be

serious. They were great and it really worked! They payed attention and asked

questions and then they were done with it. I wish we would have done it right

away...The drawings were done by Gabi and her sisters. I cannot draw at all. I

got the idea for the stickers on the paper brace from a scoli site. Anyway, in

case it would be helpful. It is there.
