Guest guest
Hi, this was posted on another group (not asd). I thought someone on here (Sandy and Tim?) might have some pointers. thanks. Charlotte Last thursday my 3 year old had a severe reaction to cashew nuts. Had adrenalin injection, cortisone intravenously and spent the night in hospital. I feel sick to think about what her little body went through. She unfortunately was vaccinated (before I woke up to the horrors), but will not receive any further, of course. It also makes me feel ill to think I could perhaps have prevented this had I known about the dangers of vaccinations when she was born. Anyway, I now want to look into what can be done to lessen her reaction/reverse the damage/ support her immune system. She is otherwise such a healthy child. I am on a mission to understand this and try fix it if at all possible. I hate the idea of her going through life always having to carry that epipen. What if we/she one day forgets it and help is not at hand. There has got to be other more natural ways of dealing with this. Thank you for the email below. If anyone has any further information for me as to where to start looking, that would be greatly appreciated. Also, the hospital has referred her to a pediatrition - does anyone know about him/her - Dr Jurges (at kingston hospital)? Thank you
