Guest guest
Hi! I am a 31 year old female who has had unexplained high blood pressure for about 5 years now. It spiked really high after giving birth to my 2nd child in December. A CBC showed low potassium. I finally found a dr. who would do further testing. Long story short an MRI found a 1cm tumor on one of my adrenal glands. I'm having adrenal vein sampling done Thursday to see if excess aldosterone is coming from the tumor (hoping) or both glands. If I do need to have an adenalectomy does anyone know how that effects the rest of your life - especially having it done at such a young age? Has anyone had or heard of a partial adrenalectomy? Any help would be appreciated. I'm glad to have found this group so I don't feel so alone with this.
