Guest guest
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15074181?ordinalpos=12 & itool=EntrezSystem2.PE\ ntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_DefaultReportPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum I should ask your GP for metronidazole, it's v effective and simple to administer. My daughter had threadworms (how i know I will not tell you but large pus-filled spots on her bum were a clue) and metronidazole got rid of them completely in two doses. It's very cheap because it's a generic. She always put everything in her mouth and threadworms are really common apparently in the environment so it would be almost inevitable that she would pick them up, I think lots of children do. There is a therapy for autism based on giving the child helminths (a form of parasite) on the grounds that this stimulates the immune system and makes them better. I can't say that my daughter appeared to deteriorate when I got rid of the threadworms. Sally
