Guest guest
Hi everybody! Okay, we made it through our first cast and also the first 5-6 days!! Eli has been such a trooper. He was up running within a few hours, with Bill and I chasing him only a step behind in case he fell. But he did good! We met another couple there the same day Eli got his cast, they were EXTREMELY helpful! We even went out to eat with them and to walmart..To buy some diapering essectials! HA! I do want to thank everybody for the AMZAING support we have had here on CAST. We know that we have recieved invaluable info here. OH MY I love my doctor and staff in SLC. They are super. I finally got to meet Angie, and I tell you she wasn't even mad(for calling her sooo much) and came and sought me out. I have probably talked ot her 20 times! My family is totally on board with Eli's treatment, they want to serve at the Local Mc house, and they want to make FREE Cast Critters for others getting their first cast. It helped Eli out a lot. We were able to show him his cast critter(made by Grandpa) and he was able to show us the critters cast, then immediately after surgery, he was making the connection about his cast, he was able to pat it when we asked where Eli's cast was at. Anyways, thanks for everybody who has responded and also became my friend on FB!! The messages, encouragement and prayers were what kept me going those first few days. : ) I added pictures if anybody want to check them out! Blessings! judy : )
