Guest guest
I have a 65 year ood female client who is about 10 pounds overweight, and of average health and conditions for her age. She was put on Synthroid July 2010. Her MD has not at this point arrived at the correct dosage. She feels, tired, sluggish, and not herself all the time. She suggested that we stop our moderate weight training until she receives the proper dose of Synthroid, and thereby feels better. She wanted to know of any adverse effects moderate intense, (for her) weight training could have on her thyroid condition. Are there any adverse effects? I really don't know the answer. I have tried to research the answer, and was unable to find any adverse reaction to thyroid medication and exercise. Am I correct. I don't want to give her any information that is not correct. C.
