Guest guest
Here is my first soup test a la Suckling. I was seated. Used an Omron HEM 907 which times 5 min then takes 3 readings and averages. No makes it easy to do. The plot above is the averages. It is very clear that this concoction lower my BP. But need to do a no sodium I did 2 Commercial soups to get ~2400 Na. 1. 's Kettle Style Tomato and Sweet Basil Bisque: Heat in the bowl it comes in. Na =750 K = 580 per serving and there are 2 servings in the cup. 520 calories. 2. Tradition Instant Noodle Soup Imitation Beef Flavor 1 serving N =1360 no K listed but contains MSG + a bunch of other items. 320 calories So total I took over about 10 min was 2,860 mg Na + at least 1,160 mg K. So will contact Dr. Suckling for her comments. Suspect we will need to make our own soup to standardize it. Any other results yet? 1 of 1 File(s) pastedGraphic.tiff
