Guest guest Posted May 15, 2010 Report Share Posted May 15, 2010 We got home from SLC last night after a long drive - we live in Southern California, but Audrey did much better in the car this time. Our physician's assistant looked at the x-rays with us and said her curve is about 48 degrees whereas after her first cast it was 41 degrees, so with margin of error it's probably about the same - no correction this time. The good news is that the rotation of her spine is greatly improved. We'll see what her doctor says about it next week, as he did not look at the x-rays. Audrey had another difficult time with the anesthesia and had to stay overnight. We met Nick, Heidi, and Bexon, and they were so friendly and had great suggestions for taking care of our daughter in a cast. We also met another family whose daughter is in her 5th cast.
