Hi Geoff,

Good luck w/ the job search, it must be very frustrating, I'm sure - especially with the economy and high unemployment. But, keep up with the workouts, they will boost your spirit!Donna

Hi Ladies!!Sorry I have not been around the past few days's it's been a bit ruff looking for jobs and I was not in the mood to post. However, I have been sticking with my exercise routines thru the ups and downs. Monday I did Firm Total Body Shaping mix and I forgot that this is a grueling 67min workout that takes a lot out of you. I usually depending on the workout like to take a sip of water every 15min or so since my area that I exercise in gets very hot and takes a lot out of you. Anyway, on Monday I was an idiot and never took my first sip of water till about 33min into the workout and, I think because of that mistake it took a lot out me and I struggled with the rest of the workout because I feel I got a bit de hydrated. So on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, I would give myself a 5.5 in terms of how well, I did the workout. I think if it wasn't for my stupid mistake it would have been around a 7 or 8.

Today was Firm TT1 and It has been a good two years since I did this workout and today was a lot better than Monday's workout. I used 10lbs on my barbell and I think that was smear because right now I'm feeling it in my shoulders. For the dumbbells I used 10 and 15lb weights and right now my arms feel like jello!! Geoff

Geoff I don't envy you the job search, and what a great way to relieve stress!

Firm workouts can be grueling. Excellent job! And do be sure and hydrate

before, during, and after exercise.

Hydration Tips

* Start hydrating early by drinking 1-2 cups of water in the morning

* Keep a water bottle with you all day long

* Drink before you get thirsty

* Drink 1-2 cups of fluid 30 minutes before exercise

* Drink ½ - 1 cup of fluid for every 15 minutes of exercise

* Replenish fluids lost (2 ½ cups for every pound lost during exercise)

* Keep drinking even after your thirst is quenched
