Guest guest
Hello my name is . I am new to the group and was searching everyone's story files looking for support and also lab numbers. I took my CT scan this morning.... I still haven't been able to obtain my blood work labs from my endo. I went to the endo thinking something was wrong with my thyroid. (both my parents and two other sisters are on syntyroid, and I've had an enlarged thyroid all my life) instead he tells me everything is fine but my aldostrone came back abnormally high and started telling me about getting a CT scan for a tumor as soon as possible. I know he suspected high aldostrone from the start b/c all my symptoms were text book for hyperaldostronism. Sorry for the long back story (and thats the short version) My question is what is considered a high enough level to call for a scan for a tumor? any answer would be helpful. I hope to get my blood work and results of MRA and CT scan soon.
