Guest guest
Yeast, parasites and more ….. Hello My six year old ASD daughter's test results have just come back showing candida, clostridia, parasites and bowel loading. Originally she was GF/CF then we switched to GAPS/SCD at Christmas. After receiving the results I am confused because to help get rid of the candida I thought I had to remove fruit and sugars but she has loads of fruit and honey included in GAPS recipes. She is already always hungry and I can't believe I have to eliminate something else from her diet but I am worried the fruit will feed the candida. I had just started to introduce juices with some fruit juice to help the taste of the vegetables and I've even taken those away. Do I go back to GF/CF without the fruit because at least I can give her rice and potatoes or do I stay GAPS/SCD? We have done a bowel clearout and she is on lots of probiotics and supplements but what to feed her? I don't want to get it wrong and make the situation any worse than it already is. She spends all day stimming and I know this is bacteria and yeast but I don't know which way to turn anymore ……… Please help!
