Guest guest Posted June 6, 2009 Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 I just finished up with this workout by Jillian. I REALLY enjoyed it. My arms are very fatigued as I type this. I went as heavy as I could though. Like for instance one exercise (which was awesome), was a squat with your butt nearly to the ground with concentration curls. I used 20's. She used 3's. .. (I think she did the whole workout, I was changing mine constantly) I know she could have handled more on that. However, the problem with the workout was I was so out of breath! I had to back-skip it ALL the time. If I wouldn't have went to heavy I wouldn't have needed too. The workout clocked in at 56 minutes, but by the time I shut my HRM off I had an hour and 5 minutes. It also did a number for my heart rate. She used compound moves with nearly everything. She worked the abs as well. Some were combined with chest. There were some new exercises in there that I loved too. I think the only muscles that didn't get worked too much were the back. Lower back was in there, but the only thing for upper back were plank rows that I am recalling. Oh, and the last section was matwork, where I didn't think it was hard enough. I will add weight next time. She did some good exercises, just not enough reps to feel it enough. Normally I'm terrible at matwork, so this one must be " real " easy I burned 534 calories with my average at 119.
