Guest guest
Keep up the Vitamin A. Bicarbonate of soda in warm baths is good for soothing itching. If you want to use conventional medecine GP can provide antibiotic cream for infected spots better than oral meds as less`additives. We also used aciclovir but that has to be started within 48 hours of first spot emerging (also available from the GP). Ice cubes/ ice packs wrapped in cloth on itchy spots is also soothing if your child will tolerate them. Rhus Tox was brilliant foir itching (thanks Kirsty!) Once spots start to scar apply BioOil or Mosqueta (Rio trading?). Just to warn you - spots seem to last forever eg our son still has traces of them weeks on.
