Guest guest
We recently had a short discussion on this subject. I happened on another mention and here is the takeaway: " Evidence of cosecretion of cortisol occurred in 14% of patients. " and " A significant minority of patients with PA exhibit evidence of cortisol cosecretion, which may have implications for perioperative management. " I only have access to the abstract, here it is: source: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21895732 title: A prospective evaluation of postural stimulation testing, computed tomography and adrenal vein sampling in the differential diagnosis of primary aldosteronism. Dr. Grim, this is a Feb. 2012 study. Is this a recent finding they are starting to find and document?
