I was diagnosed with Conns about 8 years ago and have been doing well on Inspra,

with few symptoms. Recently I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer, and have since

had my thyroid removed. My doctor has mentioned that I may have MEN Syndrome,

because I now have had 2 endocrine tumors . I am wondering, how common it is for

people with Conns to also have MEN's.

I think there are endocrine guidelines on Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia. We have several with parathyroid tumors but none with Thy cancer that I recall. Go to PUBMED and search for MEN AND CONN'S. May your pressure be low!CE Grim MS, MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertensionOn Mar 2, 2012, at 23:01, Study Circle <studycircle@...> wrote:

I had MEN1 testing which was negative. I have had a parathyroid adenoma removed and have hyperaldosteronism. Some new data on effect of PA on PTH levels that may lead to false Dx of PHPTism. May your pressure be low!CE Grim MS, MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertensionOn Mar 3, 2012, at 17:43, Valarie <val@...> wrote:
