Guest guest
Happy Anniversary!! Sounds like a perfect weekend. Congrats on the $14. Avoiding alcohol also helps me to avoid overeating. To me, so many things taste better w/ wine that it is hard to resist them (cheese, chocolate - all fattening stuff!) - plus, it does lower your inhibitions, which tends to result in overeating. Way to go!Donna From: A. M. <plantpowered@...>Subject: $14.00 Date: Sunday, July 5, 2009, 5:29 PM I put $14.00 into the alterations fund this week. The good news is that I'm starting to see some weight loss. I've been logging 100% of my food (hitting my calorie goal), and have had no wine with dinner -- no wine at all. I actually don't miss it, and I feel much, much more energetic. It makes it much easier to avoid overeating. CLX is going great. I love how strong this makes me feel. I enjoyed using my plate weights again, especially now that I have the quick release collars for the dumbbell handles. I'm also thinking of using my barbell for some of the squats. I think the curl bar will be comfy. On Friday, DH and I walked 10 miles in SF on the most scenic trails and streets. The weather was mild and beautiful. We rode our bikes to a party yesterday, and today we walked to church, and picked up fresh produce from our local produce stand on the way home. It's our 29th anniversary today. We're both so grateful to be celebrating it in good health.Happy Workouts!

Guest guest
Wow, Angelcia!! What an inspiring post!!! Your walking and bike riding is fantastic and so, of course, is your work with CLX & your food journaling!! My weight has gone up a little bit lately, nothing terrible but not a trend I want to continue either so I've recommitted myself to journaling and your post reminded me to go to my food tracker and put in what I ate today, including what I had at my niece & nephew's birthday party. It is truly horrible. Including a very light breakfast & lunch and the popcorn I intend to eat later, I've consumed more than double my points for an entire day BUT, it is documented. Now I know what "damage" I've done, which was actually very under control compared to what I could have accomplished, I know how to conduct myself for the rest of the week. I have a little bit of wiggle room left, but not much. That is okay, at least I know where I stand and can plan accordingly, which means I'd better get my weekly meal planning done very soon, workout planning too! Thanks for the inspiration, I'll look forward to hearing more about your journey!! Congratulations too on your wonderful anniversary!!! $14.00 I put $14.00 into the alterations fund this week.
