Guest guest
Hi, everyone! Feeling a big mix of frustrations right now, as having looked at 'school work, sent home over the weekend, I see little progress between it and his work of 3 years ago. Fine motor and the executive function that helped his written work are at a stage no further on than then, if in fact they are even up to that pst level. HOWEVER, it has to be sdaid that at that time he was having severe OCD behaviours, asking to swallow constantly etc, and that is now much reduced. We got rid of it completely with a rotation of herbs, and stopping his MB12 completely [shots had hugely improved fine motor/handwriting]. I have been using the same herbs and adding in others, in order to try and eradicate the OCD once more, but so far to no avail, although as mentioned already, its far less than previously was the case. He is happier all round, despite having hit puberty. Also, while the reintroduction of occasional potatoes, about 3 years ago, seemed to have little effect on behaviour at that time, I do still wonder if it was a wise move to stop being strict scd. Stopping his use of the scd yogurt had a swift leap forward in his auditory processing part of Fast-Forword programme. However, he had been doing well in terms of progress of speech and written language while using the yogurt. As far as probiotics goes, we use CP1 without d-lactate, as this once skyrocketed in the past. Also Bifidus from Biotics Research and sacro-b from time to time. HOWEVER, it seems that very rarely are his poos quite right. They can look pretty firm when I first go and peak, then he asks for 5 more minutes or so and continues to produce just mush at the end, most days. Colour can be okay, mid to dark brown, but also sometimes the diameter seems small and they can be light in colour - possibly bacteria there. Tonight was darkish but solid followed by mush again. I am trying not to blame potatoes he ate yesterday, but will need to try and keep a clear food diary again to see if this is a pattern. I feel a bit of a flop not keeping track of what foods and herbs he has been having so I can track things..... after 10 years of this you would think I would know better. Does anyone have any suggestions? in Scotland
