Guest guest
We got Audrey's official numbers from Dr. D'A - 53 degrees, which is a little worse than the 40-45 degrees in the first cast. Her rotation is better, and several of you have encouraged me saying how important this is. Dr. D'A said her ribs are more stiff due to the fact that she had heart surgery (at 4 months old) and now has metal clips in her ribs, so it's more difficult for the doctor to twist her spine. He didn't seem concerned at all, I'm sure because he sees all kinds of kids. Does anyone here have a child who's had heart surgery and now has metal in their chest? What has been your experience with casting? Thanks for input, mom to Audrey, 2 years 2nd cast, SLC
