Thought I sent this message in beginning. Anyway 2 years ago potassium was 3.0

went into rapid atrial fibrillation. Didnt have a heart condition. Saw

cardiologist and was put on lots of meds for BP . Always had good labs but BP

was always a problem. Primary physician ha d me on cardizem for at least ten

years. Everyone thought stubborn HTN . Back to 2 years ago. Briefly went into a

fib. BP continued to climb. Cardiologist put me on many meds that didn't work

and then sent me to nephrologist to see if he could control BP. He did kidney

test and they were ok except aldosterone was very high. He sent me to endo and

she did more testing. Then sent to Univ of Penn for AVS and and found left

adrenal gland side very high. Had adrenolectomy and there was a benign tumor.

Went well BP started going back down but slowly but was on 50 mg of metoprolol

and aspirin 325 mg. Had another bout of a fib went back into community hospital

and labs were okay but creatinine was elevated at 1.7 now 1.4 had CT scan and

everything looked fine. Did 24hr urine and output good. Cardiology st decided I

should increase to 100 mg of metoprolol and amioderone but coulnt take that so

it was stopped.what is going on. Have to take repeat renin and basic panel again

in a couple of weeks.
