Guest guest
I too can attest to the Vibram 5 Fingers. I've been training in them for the past 4 months and absolutely love them. I lift, run sprints, stairs, push the prowler, basically everything other than long distance running in them. I have noticed a change in my running gate since I started wearing them, even on the long runs when I don't wear them. I think they're fantastic. Fantastic to the point that we are seriously looking into getting these for the athletes we train at our university. I have been told that there are certain conditions that individuals should not wear the Vibrams, but off the top of my head I can't recall what they are. If this is something that you'd want me to research I would gladly find that info for you. I do recall that there was a post on the Boston Sports Medicine and Performance Group's Everything Basketball forum with some instances that you would not want to use these " shoes " . I don't know if this link will work, but here is a link to that discussion: http://www.bsmpg.com/basketball-forum/#/20100903/different-idea-126522/ . The information is at the bottom of the page. I hope this helps, and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
