I know. I have said as well as the Neuro I see is that all my sxs sound like a

pituitary or hypothalamic issue, but none of the MRI show anything. Now with the

finding of high deoxycortisol, deoxycorticosterone, these are all on the

hypo/pituitary/adrenal axis. I have read that up to 50% of pituitary tumors are

not found on MRI, but I do not know. My docs seem happy with the fact that the

scans were normal.

Stacey, what Lyme tests? Most docs don't have a clue how/what to test and how to interpret. The fact that you don't make antibodies makes most Lyme tests even less likely to be correct. Mine was diagnosed by DNA in urine. Val From: hyperaldosteronism [mailto:hyperaldosteronism ] On Behalf Of StaceyFI do not make many antibodies. True for lyme testing too. I have had 2 negatives on that. >

They ranged from 9.1-9.7. When PTH was 146 ca was 9.4. They did sestambini

scan and found no tumor and without high calcium they said that it could not be.

Vit d with supplement at that time was 50 so they could not tell me why it was

this way. Now my PTH is normal but higher range of 50's. They stopped testing

it.

They did the typical western blot. If I remember it is 2 part. If the 1st part

was not high, then they did not test the 2nd part. That would be my case. I

know that most have no clue about it but can not find any doc to go further with

it. How did you get someone to do a DNA on urine?

Ca disturbances are common in PA. See our files on calcium metabolism problems with PA. Take to your team. May your pressure be low!CE Grim MS, MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertensionOn May 18, 2012, at 14:27, StaceyF <ssminnow@...> wrote:
