hospital waits on casting days

I thought I'd mention what our nurse said on Thursday when we had such a long wait at the hospital, without Bex having food or water. I asked him- our nurse- if there was any way to avoid it happening again, and he said we could call the O.R. before we left for the hospital in the morning, and ask if they are running on time. I'm sure it wouldn't work every time, but it's worth a try if you have a later "call" time to be there. We had a 10am call time, and they may have known by 9:30 they were running behind. Worth a try. Heidi, Bexon's Mommy, (2 and a half years old, in 7th cast from Salt Lake City Shriners, currently down from 61 degrees to ? in cast- should hear tomorrow)

LOL!  I was so alrady trying to problem solve that issue in my head, ha!  Great info, I was glad he said that.  : )) 

Makes me feel A LOT better!
