Last night Tressia came over and we did the first kickboxing surge from the kickboxing surgre premix in Spreen's Cardio Combat Surge, CIA 2904.  I previewed this workout and can tell I will really like it!  The combo we did had relatively simple choreography, but at a higher bpm, so our heart rates were definitely up.  It moved a little fast for Tressia, so after 15 or so we did the first combo from Hip Hop Hustle #6.  This was my 4th time doing it, so I am getting to the point where I'm ready to teach it - just this combo, mind you - at the end of a TK class or something.

Tressia was wanting to do abs, so I pulled out a virgin - Abs of Steel 4 Leisa Hart.  The warmup was kind of weird because she spent an undue amount of time warming up the shoulders, in my opinion.  The started out easy enough by just lifting your leg off the floor a little.  I was worried this was going to be a waste of time, but it quickly became quite challenging!  The moves weren't anything too unusual or new, but you do them for a half hour with no break basically.  We skipped the bonus section and stretch.  I will keep this one!

Between the 3 workouts we got out hour in.  I also did the West Hills Walk at lunch, and tonite I'm walking from Downtown all the way to my friend Hillary's house on 42 and Belmont!  It should take around an hour, maybe a little more.

Darcy - did you get your new Jari workout yet:?  DDD said they shipped mine a week ago and I still don't have it!  I'm worried it got lost or stolen..
