Guest guest
Hi Guys! It has been awhile since I posted. I first posted in Feb when I joined, I have been reading EVERY post and taking notes on getting ready for Eli's first cast. (4-1-10) It has been a VERY long road since Eli was diagnosed at 9 mon. He will be almost 18 months when he gets his first. Which brings me to my question. He is supposed to go next Wednesday, and this past Monday he came down with a fever. They called today and I think they are going to reschedule it. I'm so stressed. We are going to Salt Lake City so I am not sure if anybody else has been where we are right now. I can see if he is sick still this next week, but a full week ahead of time?? This whole thing is really challenging. I do find this easier to just take it one day at a time. The whole idea of what if's, yuck! One day at a time! Also, a side note. We have been so blessed with everything, the Shriner's hosp, that pays for his treatment, Angel Flight paying for both my husband and me to go with Eli, our local Shriner's paying for our gas to drive to Kansas City to the airport(4 hours away). WOW! Long road but with lots of things to be excited about. Our kids are so amazing too, I am totalling taken by the stories I read here : ) Thanks for all the posts! Blessings! judy Mom of three boys! Ben, Josh and then Eli 17 months getting his first cast..uh..soon!
